Creative style is very rare, and real Hollywood style has lost it’s glamour. Not at the World of Jimmy Star!!! Think MTV Movie Awards style pre-George Bush when style was really great and fitting in was for losers!!!! By the way, fitting in is still for losers as far as I am concerned!

Fine Ass Mother Fucker BETTIS by Dr Drew Albright

Every issue of Beyond Elite Magazine, we select a World of Jimmy Star client to feature as our Fine Ass Mother Fucker. As this is the Living Creative Issue, I selected our star client Bettis, in that he epitomizes living creatively with a style of his own. Bettis is a triple threat internationally acclaimed pop star, dancer, and actor who has shopped The World of Jimmy Star for years with his assistant, Louise Baptista as he has been reaching the top of the entertainment industry. Although Bettis now lives in L.A., recently Jimmy Star teamed up with Bettis for another photo shoot this time with photographer Julian Murray and so here is a sampling from that shoot as well as some of the behind the scenes of Bettis in The World of Jimmy Star Showrooms in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Now what you need to know about Bettis, and how it is that he has been selected to wear the Fine Ass Mother Fucker crown, is that he has been developing his own creativity, and creative talents, and creative style for his entire lifetime, by his own willingness, his own effort and his own drive, and in the face of much adversity. He never takes the easy way out, and he never wears throw away trend fashion that is so common today. He has consistently been willing to educate himself and invest in his style for his own self expression, his own fun, and his own career direction. As this is what we teach at the World of Jimmy Star, we couldn’t ask for a better client!

Bettis has a wide range of appreciation in living, and likewise likes to mix and match a variety of fashion pieces and accessories from varying genres in a unique and eclectic way. When you ask Bettis what he finds arousing, he replies, “What’s not arousing?” as his overall attitude is more about exploration, and with that Bettis tends to seek out women who are also appreciative, sexy, and confident like him!

Bettis describes himself as “driven,” which, to those that know him is an understatement, in a good way. Bettis is highly motivated, highly productive, and highly professional, and all his creative success is well earned, and created by him! Jimmy Star Rants and Raves - Creativity in the World of Fashion by Dr Jimmy Star

Creativity in the world is really a very rare commodity, and in the world of fashion and style it is almost nonexistent. The state of affairs in the world today is very religious and conservative, extremely boring!!!! It is really unfortunate that fashion has succumbed to the don’t stand out in the crowd, do what you are told, and don’t think for yourself mentality that runs the world. Here at The World of Jimmy Star we say, “Fuck that shit!!!”

Creative style is about having a Great Time!!! It is a way to express yourself while not taking yourself so seriously. Life is short, so I choose to take care of myself and have a good time. Creativity comes from you, and only you can make the choice to enjoy it or bury it. Why bury it? You are eventually going to die and be buried and that will be it, you are done, so why not enjoy yourself while you are living and be creative!!!

Creative style does not worry about being politically correct, or fitting in with the masses. Develop it as part of who you are, and come out of the fashion closet!!! Look to pop culture/hollywood style icons to help in your development and eventually you will work yourself into a new comfort zone, one that leaves losers behind. In my opinion, the coolest clothing designers/brands to check out besides Jimmy Star(my fashions are definitely the coolest going) are Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Heatherette, Keanan Duffty, John Galliano, and Karl Lagerfeld. These designers never fail to impress with their eye catching avant-garde designs that constantly scream, “We love life!!!! We are not boring people waiting to die!!!”

Some hollywood/pop culture icons that I recommend learning from because of their great individual creative style include Gwen Stefani, Kelly Osbourne, Dave Navarro, Kyle Schmidt, Sarah Jessica Parker’s character in Sex and the City, Marilyn Manson, Fergie and Tommy Lee.....These people always look cool, whether eating at McDonald’s or walking the red carpet... there is no excuse to look ordinary at any time. You can put your own creative style and touch on everything you wear to come out of the crowd and be noticed and have a great time doing so. Everything in life is a choice, and the choice is yours!
