2010 is upon us and I thought it would be fun to showcase some of my classic couture designs that are also a commentary of the times we are living in. All of these one-of-a-kind creations have something to say, as I created them and I always have something to say and love to say it in a fun, creative way! Enjoy!!!!!

WOW!!!! 2010 is here, and I want to welcome you to the Sane, Sober & Safe Issue of Beyond Elite Magazine, our first issue of the new year. There is a lot of beneficial information in our magazine, and this is a timely issue with extremely important information to enjoy the Good Times in a time when the entire world is having difficulty.

One might think that the idea of living SANE, SOBER & SAFE is very easy and comprehendible to anyone and everyone, and if you think that, you would be wrong... hardly anyone has a REAL grasp on the English language, so there is actually no REAL comprehension of the words or what the whole thing means. Just watch the news coverage of current events and you will see what I am talking about. I will give you an example. Let’s look at the recent death of Brittany Murphy, a terrific actress who recently died of a drug overdose. All the news stations called it an accidental overdose. Are you fucking kidding me? There is no such thing. When you do drugs you die. Taking the drugs was not an accident, it was a choice, so you chose to die. Drugs kill, it is not a secret, and there are no accidental overdoses. Wake the fuck up. In reality, you pay attention to the facts and every choice you make has consequences, there are no such thing as accidents, only bad choices. If you trip on the sidewalk, that is not an accident, you were not paying attention which was your choice. Safety was not high on your priority list.

Every decision you make is made by you. No one can make you do anything, and the ultimate goal for yourself should be to not get squashed. No one can take care of you but you, and if you value living, you do whatever it takes to look out for yourself and make sure that you DO NOT DIE because you make shitty decisions. You are your own responsibility. If living a long, healthy life is important to you, than all your decisions should reflect this value and making decisions is a simple process. Remember too, that making sure you are not getting squashed means to take care of yourself, but is not permission for you to do the squashing. Taking care of yourself does not come at someone else’s expense. Everyone gets to make their own decisions, and you are only responsible for yourself. Making decisions based on the facts will be the catalyst in determining what is safe, which is the sane way of evaluating everything that comes up in your day to day life. It is a choice that needs to be made by everyone, and decisions constantly need to be re-evaluated based on their results.

I have a terrific life. This does not mean I get everyone thing I want. I work hard, act in movies, get interviewed for TV and magazines, design fabulous one of a kind clothing, work with cool celebrities, and have a total blast. I also mow my lawn, bathe our 7 dogs, clean the bathroom and never have enough money. All of my decisions have consequences, and I learn from all decisions by evaluating the results of my choices. I work all the time by choice, love what I am doing, and totally enjoy working to achieve a goal, which does not always work out the way I would like. This is not magic, it is about making realistic choices and managing your life in reality. No magic, no God, no fairies, no wishing, no hope; just living in the moment and making a choice to have a blast by living Sane, Sober and Safe!

Jimmy Star Fashionistas - Serious about Fun by Dr Drew Albright - Beyond Elite Magazine - 103

I’m going to make a bold statement here and say that everyone takes fashion seriously. Especially the people who dress so terribly it seems like they don’t care at all. Poor countries, rich countries, be it loincloths or Versace, all cultures have their fashions, and just what you take seriously comes across in what you wear, whether you like it or not, or are aware of it or not.

Some examples are that people take being modest and proper as a fashion statement seriously, and so dress modestly and proper. People take being above or beyond fashion seriously, and so dress poorly and cheaply to demonstrate that fashion is low priority. People take not wanting to draw any bad comments or bad attention seriously, and so dress bland and nondescript so as not to draw attention. It is all done quite seriously, and they are all actually fashion statements, regardless of how one might want them to be non-statements.

At The World of Jimmy Star, we take fun and self-expression as a fashion statement seriously, and so we dress fun and self-expressively! Ironically as much as we are into high fashion, we are not so caught up in how we look to others, or confined by fashion as a competition, as we are more interested in what we want to look, say, do, think and be for ourselves!

So you may want to ask yourself if you take fashion or non-fashion too seriously, or if you know that it is all play, all for fun and can have a good time!
